WHY ROUGE GIVES?

Every year camps in York Region have experienced an increasing number of requests for financial assistance and support for campers with exceptionalities. Rouge Gives looks to address these regional needs by offering our Financial Assistance Program and Inclusion Program.  We rely on donors like you to operate these programs.  On top of offering these services to deserving families, Rouge Gives having charity status also provides opportunities to:

1. Provide volunteer hours to deserving and qualified students (only available for charities and not-for-profits).
2. Apply for Canada Summer Jobs subsidies to create up to 100% subsidized paid jobs for students (only available for charities and not-for-profits).
3. Apply for additional funding opportunities available to not-for-profits to send more kids to camp.
4. Create an avenue with the larger community to make camp more accessible for more families.  In other words: unlocking the power of camp for more!
